The honest fine print.

Avora is a study aid, not flight instruction, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Practice sessions, scores, and debriefs are generated by AI and assessed against the Airman Certification Standards. They are practice metrics, they may contain errors, and they do not predict or guarantee the outcome of any checkride or FAA examination. Always verify anything surprising with a certificated flight instructor before relying on it.

Avora does not provide, log, or substitute for the ground or flight instruction required for any certificate or rating. References to FAA publications are provided for study convenience; the official FAA source always governs.

By using Avora you agree to use it for personal checkride preparation and not to misuse, resell, or attempt to extract the underlying content or models. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

Subscriptions and billing. Paid plans and pricing are being finalized during beta. When billing goes live on the App Store, purchases and renewals will be managed through your Apple account, and you can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store settings. Instructor (CFI) accounts are free.

Instructor links.When you link a CFI, you authorize Avora to share your readiness metrics, weak-area data, and debrief summaries with that instructor, but never your exam or Q&A conversations. You may unlink at any time.

Avora is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Avora is not liable for any outcome arising from your use of the app, including checkride results.

We collect what we need to run Avora: your account details, your checkride context (rating, aircraft, written-test codes, optional checkride date and home airport), and the practice activity that powers your readiness map.

What instructors see.A linked CFI sees your readiness, ranked weak areas, and debrief summaries. That is metrics only. Your exam conversations and instructor Q&A are never shared with anyone.

How content is generated. Practice sessions and answers are produced with AI grounded in FAA publications. We do not sell your personal data. Aggregate, de-identified usage (for example, which ACS areas students struggle with most) may be used to improve the product.
